Detroit-style pizza is coming to Sheffield

Sheffield, South Yorkshire

Sheffield is on the Dough Dohs map. We make Detroit-style pizza, the square, pan-baked kind with a deep, airy middle and a crust of browned cheese around the outside. Right now our only live kitchen is in Leicester, so there's nothing to order in Sheffield yet. When there is, the people on the Sheffield DOH List will hear about it before anyone else.

What is Detroit-style pizza?

Detroit-style lives or dies on the dough and the edge. Ours ferments for 72 hours, then gets pressed into a steel pan and loaded with cheese right to the rim. As it bakes, that cheese crisps against the metal into the crunchy, slightly charred edge people come back for.

Delivery only. Dark kitchen.

In Sheffield we'll be a delivery-only dark kitchen, so there's no dining room to visit. The kitchen exists to make pizza and send it out.

What’s on the menu

Sheffield knows good food, so we're not turning up half-ready. When our Sheffield kitchen opens, expect Smokestack, The Red Stripe and Honey Brisket straight out of the pan with those crispy cheese edges intact. Join the DOH List if you're anywhere in Sheffield or South Yorkshire and we'll keep you posted.

The same menu as our Leicester kitchen. Every pizza comes with a free dip.
